10 Mistakes Lots of People Make When Buying a New Car

07:49
According to statistics, most drivers change their car once every six years, which is a pretty long period of time. To take the best out of your car in those six years, to save money and to avoid constant repairing, you’d better avoid ten mistakes many of us make when buying a car. One day you’ll probably decide to sell your car. That’s why you have to consider some important features. According to Paint supplier PPG Industries, white is the most popular car color in the US with 35 percent of all sold vehicles. It is followed by black with 17 percent, and silver and gray that both got a 12 percent popularity. In case you want to purchase some good old German luxury brands such as BMW or Mercedes-Benz, you have to be prepared to pay around $17,800 and $12,900 for ten years of maintenance accordingly. US popular brand Cadillac comes next with an average $12,500 maintenance cost for the same period of time. Additional airbags, a passenger sensing system that can tell the size of the person in the seat and save smaller children in case of a crash, auto-dimming mirrors to reduce the glare coming from headlights at night, head restraints and ABS are some of the things you don’t want to save money at. Make a check-list of features you need to check and think of where you’ll be driving your new vehicle. Try driving on the highway and park in uncomfortable conditions if that’s what you know you’ll have to do in the future. Examine everything to help yourself make the right decision. Don’t be afraid to miss “the deal of a lifetime.” You must have noticed those come up now and then, so you shouldn’t let them pressure you into making a wrong financial decision that will affect your budget for years. Music: https://www.youtube.com/audiolibrary/music TIMESTAMPS You don’t think about resale value. 0:32 Car maintenance can be expensive. 1:46 You pay for optional items. 2:50 You buy a brand new car. 3:33 You buy a car that is too big or too small. 4:03 You can’t choose between car’s prestige and technical characteristics. 4:34 You don’t examine the car. 5:19 You miss advantageous offers and discounts. 6:08 You don’t try to lower the price. 6:30 You’re in a hurry. 6:51 SUMMARY -First, the car brand matters: there are brands that are more or less popular among drivers. Second, you need to think about the vehicle specifications and the engine. Third, don’t forget about its color. -Think of how much of your family budget car maintenance can make, and decide if you want to spend that much on your vehicle after you’ve purchased it. -Some drivers don’t smoke inside their cars. In this case, they don’t need an ashtray. An additional corrosion treatment is useless as well because cars already have an anti-corrosion treatment. -The best choice is a car model that is no more than three years old and already well-known. -Try to predict how many times you’re going to travel by car, how many passengers will be there, and so on. -A premium class car will give you better safety, high performance and increased comfort their manufacturers guarantee. -Gather as much information as possible at reliable websites and among your friends, consult an independent specialist, and test drive your chosen car. -The best time to buy a car starts in December and reaches its peak in March. -Try to call or send emails to different dealerships saying you have a better offer and asking if they can beat it. -Spend enough time to gather information, consulting specialists, and weighing the pros and cons. 7 Things You Shouldn't Do In an Automatic Transmission Car

08:00
Do you drive a car with an automatic transmission? 🚕 The interface of automatic vehicles is often simpler, and new drivers don't have to struggle with a seemingly unruly stick shift and clutch. But there are still some ways you can mess up your transmission. Here are 7 of the most dangerous mistakes you can make when driving an automatic! 📣 TIMESTAMPS: Don't shift from "drive" to "reverse" before your car stops moving 1:06 Never put your car in "park" before it stops completely 1:55 Don't put it in "neutral" at stop lights 2:56 Don't coast in "neutral" 3:53 Never “launch” your car from a standstill 4:44 Avoid keeping the gas tank on low 5:48 Do not let water get in the transmission 6:31 #automatictransmission #drivinghacks #drivingtips Music: https://www.youtube.com/audiolibrary/music SUMMARY: - If your brakes wear down, replacing them will cost you around $200. But by constantly shifting from "drive" to "reverse" while the car’s still rolling, get ready for damage that can run you at least $2,500. - When you throw it in “park,” a pin locks the transmission output shaft, which connects it to the wheels of your car. But if the car’s still rolling when you do this, either the locking pin or the output shaft may break or become eroded. - It's better to keep your car in "drive" than to switch it to "neutral" when stopped at a light. First of all, when your car’s in "neutral," you don't have as much control over it. So if you need to make some emergency maneuver, you may not be able to execute it in time. - Cars with automatic engines are designed in such a way that they save fuel even if the gear is in "drive." They simply cut the fuel supply when you're going downhill. - Plenty of drivers launch their cars all the time. This causes serious harm to the bands and clutches of the automatic transmission. When you shift, they use friction to move definite parts. - Ignoring the low fuel light may eventually cost you much more than just filling your tank up, especially if your car has an automatic transmission. - If water gets into the transmission, you're in big trouble. Even the smallest amount of water, just an ounce, can wreak havoc on your car’s transmission to the point that it needs replaced. 10 Driving Hacks That'll Make You Spend Less On Gas

10:01
How to spend less money on gas? How to drive a car easily and safely? There is a direct connection between mileage and the frequency of maintenance services. Here are 10 brilliant driving hacks and secrets that will help you save gas money and drive your car like a pro. TIMESTAMPS - Why is gas so expensive? 0:54 - Don’t put the pedal to the metal 2:20 - Use cruise control on the highway 3:18 - Undergo servicing on time 4:04 - Turn off the air conditioning 4:58 - Make your route logistically efficient 5:47 - Don’t drive when it rains 6:34 - Monitor your tire pressure 7:24 - Remove unnecessary weight 8:04 - Keep an eye on gas prices 8:35 - Always stay alert on the road 9:11 SUMMARY Why is gas so expensive? Because oil is? That’s right. Crude oil, to be precise. It makes up 72 of gasoline price. We pay the remaining 28 percent for distribution, refining, and taxes. The reasons for gas prices to rise are the weakening dollar, natural disasters and simple rules of supply and demand. Prices rise when demand is bigger than supply. Prices usually drop down in the winter when fewer people are traveling across the country. We can hardly affect any of the things we just mentioned. But we can affect our choice when buying a car. Some cars are less fuel-efficient than others. But we still love them and want to have them. They are ultra high-end luxury cars and large vans and SUVs. Sports cars are already very expensive themselves and also require you to feed their turbocharged engines, which create more horsepower. If you don’t have a sports car, but paying for gas is still a nightmare, then you probably own one of the best-selling cars in America. Toyota Camry, Corolla, Prius and Honda Civic, Accord and CR-V. Give this video a “thumbs up” if we guessed it right. 8 Things You’re Doing Wrong When Driving Fast

09:00
You might find yourself driving fast if you’re late for work, need to be on time for an appointment, or want to get to your destination as quickly as possible. Even if you stay under the speed limit, there are certain things that can put you at risk of an accident and should be avoided. For instance, blaring out your favorite songs while driving fast might not be such a good idea. A 2013 study conducted at Ben-Gurion University in Israel tested 85 teenagers on their driving skills while listening to music. While listening to their favorite songs, 98% of them made errors. While listening to easy-going music like soft rock or jazz, only 77% of them made mistakes. If you’re driving fast, it’s best to keep the radio off. If you wanna learn how you can drive fast and be a responsible driver for yourself, your passengers, and other cars in the vicinity, watch our new video! TIMESTAMPS: Turning the steering wheel incorrectly 0:56 Coasting 1:48 Not keeping your eyes on the road 2:45 Distracted driving 3:46 Listen to your favorite tunes 4:33 Staying too close to other cars 5:22 Driving fast despite bad weather conditions 6:30 Incorrect hand position 7:39 #fastdriving #drivingmistakes #drivesafe Music by Epidemic Sound https://www.epidemicsound.com/ SUMMARY: - If your airbag is deployed while you are turning your wheel with an incorrect movement, the force of the airbag could send your hand flying into your face and cause serious damage. - Coasting can be accomplished by holding down the clutch pedal or setting the car’s gear in neutral. - In a 6-second period, drivers who text take their eyes off the road for 4.6 seconds, in which time a pedestrian could cross the road, traffic could come to a full stop, or an animal could get in the way. - A study conducted at Memorial University of Newfoundland found that listening to loud music can slow down someone’s reaction time by 20%. - Loud music isn’t the only thing that can distract you! Your favorite songs (at a normal volume) can also do the trick. - The recommendation is to double or even triple your distance between cars. A good way of judging this distance is if the car ahead of you passes a landmark, it should take 6 seconds before you pass it. - When the weather gets bad, like when it’s raining or when a huge amount of falling snow threatens your visibility, it’s time to slow down. Unfortunately, not everyone does that. - If you hold the steering wheel with one hand or hold it lower than recommended (perhaps at the “8 and 4 o’clock” positions), this will lessen your control of the car. 16 FAMOUS LOGOS WITH A HIDDEN MEANING (That We Never Even Noticed)

06:28
How to design a successful logo? How to build a famous brand for your business? Some of the most well-known logos in the world were purposefully designed to indicate something much more than simple beauty. In fact, it seems that in some cases, every line, curve, and color has meaning behind it. Adidas, Apple, BMW, Coca-Cola, Toyota… We see these famous brands everywhere but never consider what their logos exactly mean. Curious to know the secret? Watch the 16 famous logos with a hidden meaning you've never noticed. #logomeaning #logosecret # Hyundai 0:33 The letter ’Н’ symbolizes two people – a client and a representative of the company – shaking hands. Adidas 0:52 The current logo is three stripes at an angle which together form a triangle. This symbolizes a mountain, which in turn represents the challenges that all sportsmen have to overcome day after day. Apple 1:21 Rob Janoff, the designer who came up with the world-famous Apple company logo, explained his idea in one of his interviews. He bought a bag of apples, placed them in a bowl, and spent time drawing them for a week, trying to break the image down into something simple. Vaio 1:58 The first two letters of the Vaio logo symbolize an analogue wave. The last two are similar to the numbers 1 and 0 — that is, symbols of a digital signal. Amazon 2:14 The orange arrow is similar to a smile because the company wants its customers to be satisfied. The arrow is also stretched between the letters ’A’ and ’Z’, in a hint that the company sells absolutely every product you can imagine. Baskin Robbins 2:40 The pink-colored parts of the "BR" section make up the number 31, which is how many ice cream flavors Baskin Robbins used to famously sell. Toyota 2:56 The logo represents a stylized image of a needle eye with a thread passing through it. This is a hint at the company’s past – they used to produce weaving machines. Continental 3:28 Continental, a famous car tire producer, has a logo in which the first two letters depict a car wheel. Formula 1 3:41 If you look carefully at the white space between the letter ’F’ and the red stripes, you can see the number 1. Pinterest 3:59 On Pinterest, people collect images they like from across the Internet and ’pin’ them to their online boards. That’s why the image of a pin is hidden in the letter P. Beats 4:17 Beats, an audio equipment producer based in the USA, uses a logo in which the letter ’B’ looks like headphones on a person’s head. Toblerone 4:32 The famous chocolate company based in Bern, Switzerland, has a silhouette of a bear in its logo. That's because Bern is sometimes called a city of bears. BMW 4:55 The logo is simply a part of the Bavarian flag, the area of Germany where the company originated. LG 5:18 The logo is a stylized image of a person’s face. According to the company, this represents its aspiration to have human relations with their customers. Evernote 5:34 The corner of the elephant’s ear is folded over in a similar way how people fold the corner of a page to make notes. Coca-Cola 5:57 In the space between the letters ’O’ and ’L’, you can see the Danish flag. It’s purely a coincidence. Nevertheless, Coca-Cola has used this as part of its marketing campaigns in the Scandinavian country. If you’ve enjoyed this video, hit that thumbs up button! 10 Things You Should Never Do To Your Car (Never Ever!)

08:18
What things you should avoid while driving. Today’s cars are also packed with plenty of safety features like airbags, anti-lock braking systems, traction control, and shatterproof glass. However, despite your car’s sophisticated safety features or computer system, you could find yourself in a tricky situation at the worst possible time. And it’s still a good idea to avoid doing certain things. TIMESTAMPS: Don’t press the “Off” button while driving 0:58 Don’t select “reverse” while driving 1:50 Don’t select “park” while driving 2:26 Don’t attach too many keys to the ignition key 2:54 Don’t forget to change your car’s oil 3:35 Don’t overfill the engine oil 4:27 Don’t wait until the fuel tank is empty 5:05 Don’t ignore warning indicators 5:45 Don’t forget to check your tire pressure 6:31 Don’t forget to balance your tires 7:14 #parking #drivingtips Music: https://www.youtube.com/audiolibrary/music SUMMARY: - Some cars might require you to press the button for 3 seconds or more to shut it down. This is a safety feature in case you have a problem with your accelerator or brakes. - If your car has cameras and a screen on the deck, the rear-facing camera might come on, or parking aids might become available, but the car won’t back up all of a sudden or come to a stop. - If you shift to park while driving, your car might make an awful grinding noise and continue driving. Your car probably won’t suffer damage if you accidentally do this once. - Gravity is still at work when you put your car keys into the ignition. During car rides, bumps and potholes will cause these heavy keys to pull and pull on the ignition until it wears out the tumblers. - If you don’t change your oil, your car will run less efficiently. It will also stop lubricating the engine components, causing wear and tear. If the mechanical components continue to grind on each other, the car might become inoperable. - The engine oil always comes with a dipstick, which has a mark to indicate the level the oil needs to be filled to. Fill it to this level and not to the top as if it were a bottle. - Signs that your car’s catalytic converter has been damaged are that your car won’t accelerate when you press the pedal, your car’s fuel emission will drop suddenly, or your car won’t start. - A good rule of thumb is that if you see a warning light on the dashboard, call or bring it to a mechanic as soon as possible. - Checking your tire pressure is a good practice that often falls by the wayside. It’s even more important to do it when you’re headed out on a road trip or if your daily commute is over 30 minutes. - If the tires are out of balance, you don’t have full control of your car, and your tires will wear unevenly. Smaller, Lighter, Cheaper -ETCG1

04:39
I've been in the repair business for more than 20 years now and in that time I've seen things get smaller, lighter, and cheaper. Just about every vehicle system has been effected. When I started there will still some full framed vehicles on the road, now, unless it's a pick up truck, you'll likely never see it again. I believe manufacturers do this to save money on materials and also to make their vehicles lighter to meet emission standards. Either way you look at it, I'm sure the profit margin is closely watched. So what are your thoughts on Smaller, Lighter, Cheaper? Articles (a, an, the) - Lesson 1 - 7 Rules For Using Articles Correctly - English Grammar

In this lesson, learn the 7 rules for using articles in English correctly. Also see - MOST COMMON MISTAKES IN ENGLISH & HOW TO AVOID THEM: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1Dax90QyXgI&list=PLmwr9polMHwsR35rD9spEhjFUFa7QblF9 For more FREE English lessons, SUBSCRIBE to this channel. Transcript: Hello and welcome. In this lesson, I will teach you the seven rules that you need to know for using articles in English correctly. Articles are the words ‘a’, ‘an’, and ‘the’. There is a final quiz at the end of the lesson for you to test your understanding. OK, the first rule is about where to use ‘a’ and where to use ‘an’. So rule number one is use ‘a’ before a consonant sound, and ‘an’ before a vowel sound. So in all of these words – you see that they start with a consonant sound. Cat starts with /k/, dog starts with /d/, boy with /b/, girl with /g/, house with /h/ and tree with /t/. So we say ‘a cat’, ‘a dog’, ‘a boy’, ‘a girl’, ‘a house’, ‘a tree’ etc. Notice that in natural speech, we don’t say ‘a’, we say ‘uh’ – like ‘a cat’. In this next set of words, you see that, they all start with a vowel sound – apple starts with /ae/, engineer starts with /e/, ice-cream with /ai/, old with /o/, umbrella with /uh/. So we say ‘an apple’, ‘an engineer’, ‘an ice-cream cone’, ‘an old womman’, ‘an umbrella’ and so on. In speech, we don’t say ‘an’, we say /ən/. Let’s do a small exercise. You see ten items on the screen. For each one, I want you to say if you would use ‘a’ or ‘an’ before it. Stop the video, think about it, then play the video again and check. OK here are the answers. Did you get them all right? I want to focus on items number seven to ten because these are a little tricky. Number seven is ‘a university’ because even though ‘university’ starts with the letter ‘u’ the first sound of the word is not a vowel sound. We don’t say /ooniversity/. We say /yoo-nə- vər-si-ty/ so that first sound is a /y/ sound, which a consonant sound, so we say ‘a university.’ Number eight is similar. The word ‘European’ starts with a /y/ sound, so ‘a European tour.’ In number nine, the spelling has an ‘h’ at the start but that ‘h’ is silent. We don’t say /hau-ər/, we say /au-ər/. The first sound is an /au/ sound which is a vowel sound, so this is ‘an hour’. In the same way, in number ten, we say MA. ‘M’ starts with an /e/ sound which is again a vowel sound, so ‘an MA in English’. OK let’s move on to rule number two: Use ‘a’ and ‘an’ ONLY with singular, countable nouns. We say that a noun is countable if we can count it – one, two, three, four etc. All of these words on the screen are countable. We can say one elephant, three cars, ten teachers, five hundred onions and so on. Now if you talk about one person or thing, like one elephant or one car, then that’s called a singular noun and if you say ten teachers or five hundred onions, those are called plural nouns. Uncountable nouns cannot be counted in this way. Nouns like water, sugar, milk, love, anger, knowledge are some examples. If you think about it, you cannot say “I drank four waters” or “I want eight milks”. To a person, you can say “I love you” but you can’t say “I have five loves for you” – that doesn’t make any sense. So these are all uncountable. Alright, so the rule is - you can only use ‘a’ and ‘an’ if you’re talking about one person or one thing. Let’s do another quick exercise. Here are ten items again. This time, you see ‘a’ or ‘an’ before the nouns, but some of these are wrong. They should NOT have ‘a’ or ‘an’ before them. Stop the video, identify the mistakes, then play the video again and check. OK, here are the answers. Number three is wrong because ‘shirts’ is a plural and you cannot use ‘a’ or ‘an’ before a plural noun. Number five is wrong because ‘happiness’ is uncountable, so again, ‘a’ or ‘an’ cannot be used there. The same goes for number six – water is uncountable. Number nine is wrong because ‘doctors’ is a plural – you can say ‘a doctor’ but not ‘a doctors’. And finally, in number ten, advice is an uncountable noun – so you cannot ask for ‘an advice’. Now a quick note here: the article ‘the’ can be used with all kinds of nouns – singular or plural countable nouns, and uncountable nouns. OK, so let’s now talk about how to choose between ‘a’ or ‘an’ and ‘the’. Here’s rule number three: Use ‘a’ or ‘an’ to talk about a person or thing unknown to your listener. And use ‘the’ to talk about a person or thing known to your listener. For example, “My sister has two computers: a PC and a laptop. The PC is quite old but the laptop is brand new.” I say ‘a PC’ and ‘a laptop’ because that’s the first time I’m mentioning the two computers. That is, until this point, they are unknown to you, the listener.

Vintage Parts -ETCG1

06:39
Lately I've been doing a lot of work on my 1993 Acura Vigor. Since it was only made for 3 years back in the early 90's,I'm finding parts are hard to get hold of, and when I can get hold of them, they are VERY expensive. Since it's a 'rare' car that is out of production, even the aftermarket isn't making parts for it anymore. This Is the recipe for 'vintage parts'. So if you find yourself falling in love with an older, rare vehicle, think twice. You may have a hard time getting your hands on the parts to restore, or even repair, your vehicle. If You See a Coin In Your Car Door Handle, Run And Call the Police!

We are going to reveal 7 new tricks car thieves are using and what you can do to save your car from being stolen. Remember these secret tricks to protect yourself. About one million cars are stolen in the US each year. The biggest targets are Toyota, Honda, and General Motors vehicles. According to the thieves themselves, this is because these cars are a little easier to steal and their spare parts are in high demand. New-generation car thieves are using gadgets to steal vehicles. Criminals are hacking into the latest “keyless” systems to enter the newest models. Criminals copy and reproduce your car's VIN to organize a huge fraud scheme. Another way car thieves get close to your vehicle is by posing as, for example, mechanics. Some thieves will hang out around grocery stores and major supermarkets and stalk their prey, so to say. #cartricks #drivingtips #drivinghacks TIMESTAMPS Blocked car announcement scam 0:43 New-generation car thieves 1:48 The VIN trick 4:06 Fake mechanics 5:57 Late night alarm 6:29 Parking lot attacks 7:14 The coin trick 8:18 SUMMARY -Criminals have an announcement made that your car is blocking theirs and attack you as you rush to the car. -New-generation car thieves use complicated signal pinging to open your car, so if you have a car with keyless entry, get a special radio signal deactivation option. -Criminals copy and reproduce your car's VIN to organize a huge fraud scheme. -Service your car in trusted places only. -Thieves set the alarm off in your car in the dead of night to make you disable it. -Some thieves wait for a lone shopper to walk to their car in the parking lot and attack them. -The coin used by thieves prevents the lock on one of the doors from working, the owner walks away, and the thieves get in. Used cars are sold through a variety of outlets, including franchise and independent car dealers, rental car companies, leasing offices, auctions, and private party sales. Some car retailers offer "no-haggle prices," "certified" used cars, and extended service plans or warranties. A car dealership or vehicle local distribution is a business that sells new or used cars at the retail level, based on a dealership contract with an automaker or its sales subsidiary. It employs automobile salespeople to sell their automotive vehicles. It may also provide maintenance services for cars, and employ automotive technicians to stock and sell spare automobile parts and process warranty claims. Car dealerships are typically franchised to sell and service vehicles by specific companies. They are often located on properties offering enough room to have buildings housing a showroom, mechanical service, and body repair facilities, as well as to provide storage for used and new vehicles. Many dealerships are located out of town or on the edge of town centers. An example of a traditional single proprietorship car dealership is Collier Motors in North Carolina. Many modern dealerships are part of corporate-owned chains such as AutoNation with over 300 franchises. Dealership profits in the US mainly come from servicing, some from used cars, and little from new cars. 10 Unusual Car Tricks Only Advanced Drivers Share

08:31
A lot of car problems can be solved with a little creativity. Every car owner has a standard set of items in their glove compartment and trunk: sunglasses, a soft tissue, a spare wheel and other things of that nature. But sometimes these items may not be helpful enough for what you need. These car hacks are clever, easy, and efficient, and they can save you from a tight spot. Watch the video to learn why having kitty litter in your car can be so convenient and how you can use household items like Coke and socks to get your car in tip-top shape. TIMESTAMPS: Use a rubber band to hold up your phone 0:48 Use a foam noodle to save your car from dents 1:28 Use toothpaste for headlights 2:11 Prevent foggy windows with cat litter 2:51 Make an easy deicer 3:31 Remove rust with Coke 4:16 Use a plunger for dents 5:09 Use cardboard to escape snow 5:56 Clean bumper sticker residue with newspaper 6:36 Use a sock to wipe your windshield 7:25 #cartricks #drivingtips Music by Epidemic Sound https://www.epidemicsound.com/ SUMMARY: - If you know you need to use your phone's GPS but don’t have a holder, you can quickly create a makeshift one with items lying around your house. - Mark the place where your car door usually meets the wall, and then glue or nail the foam noodle to that spot. - If you want your car to make a good impression, taking care of your headlights is vital. Headlights made from polycarbonate or plastic can get a distinct cloudiness that soap can’t easily remove. - An easy trick is to fill a sock with cat litter and leave it in your car overnight. The litter will absorb the moisture inside the car, and your windows will be completely clear by morning. - Fill a spray bottle with 2 parts rubbing alcohol and one part water, and then spray liberally on the windshields. - Coca-Cola isn’t just one of the world’s most popular sodas. It contains a low amount of phosphoric acid, so it can also be used to remove rust from vehicles. - Put some water on the plunger and the dent, and place the plunger against the dent. Then pull and push until the dent pops back into place. - If you get stuck, you can put the cardboard close to the tires, and it will help you get out. If you forget the cardboard, take out the car’s mats, and use them instead. - To remove the residue, dampen a newspaper, and cover the sticker with it. Leave it on for 15 minutes. - A lot of people who have to do laundry outside their homes lose a sock at one time or another. Turn the situation into an opportunity by using your remaining sock as a windshield wiper! If You See a Bottle on Your Tire, Don't Touch It And Call the Police!

10:46
WARNING! If you see a plastic bottle on your tire, call the police! The total value of all the cars that get stolen in the U.S. every single year is 4 billion dollars. Stealing cars is only becoming that much easier thanks to a new trick car thieves are using these days. How to protect your car and valuables from thieves? It's always better to be forewarned and take preventive measures to protect yourself. For example, why not walk around your car and briefly examine it before every drive? Not only that, there are tons of other ways you can protect yourself and your car from thieves. TIMESTAMPS How does the new criminal ploy work 1:18 Where criminals use this trick 2:40 How can you protect yourself 4:12 Take your steering wheel with you when you leave your car. 4:40 Buy a car with a manual transmission. 5:17 Keep the windshield clear. 6:07 Keep your car clean and tidy. 6:38 Take a look around. 7:13 Make sure your car faces your house. 7:51 Etch your car's identification number on each window. 8:27 Use a tire lock. 8:49 Use a baby monitor. 9:20 Music: Cataclysmic Molten Core . Jingle Punks https://www.youtube.com/audiolibrary/music SUMMARY -First of all, thieves find a car they like in a parking lot. After that, they place an empty plastic bottle on the front or rear passenger tire. You start the ignition, and just as you’re rolling out of your parking spot, you hear some weird crinkling sound. As you get out of the car to check it out, the criminals either steal the car or grab all the valuables inside and run off. -The first cases of carjackers using this strategy were reported in Limpopo, South Africa. Another wave of car thefts committed this way swept through Mexico too. -It's always better to be forewarned and take preventive measures to protect yourself. -Actually, you can install a quick-release steering wheel so that you can take it with you whenever you leave your car. -There have been numerous reports from would-be victims explaining how thieves often run away in embarrassment after failing to drive away in a manual. -Before you leave your car, you should always remove any wiring you may have. -If there’s a bunch of random stuff lying around in your vehicle, thieves will assume that you’re unorganized. -Before you leave your car alone, take a look around. Don't try to be discreet about it either. -Just pull in so that your car faces your house. You don’t really save that much time in the morning by backing in anyway. -If you have your VIN etched on every window, replacing all the glass won't be worth all the hassle for these criminals. -You might not know that you can get hold of a tire lock yourself too and use it to prevent car theft. The Only Way to Survive In a Sinking Car

04:39
To escape from a sinking car, you need to be sure you know what to do in advance. Extreme and life-threatening situations give us little or no time to think how to react. Only following certain secret tips will help you save your life and survive at this time. There are some very important steps to be taken in this unfortunate situation. You have to remember every second counts as you’ll only have about a minute to do what you should before the car sinks completely underwater. Memorize the sequence: “unfasten the seat belt, lower the window, climb out of the car”. Once you’ve gotten your kids out, leave the car yourself. If there’s no way to get out through the window, wait until the car fills completely with water, and then open the door. The rising air bubbles will lead you to the surface. TIMESTAMPS Two important steps to take 0:24 Every second counts 0:46 A sequence to memorize 1:01 If you can't roll down the window, break it 1:32 Take care of the kids 2:17 Escape through the door 2:56 Air bubbles will lead you to safety 3:37 Revise the 2-step survival plan 4:00 SUMMARY Summary: -Unfasten your seatbelt and roll down the window as fast as you can. -Do not waste your time trying to open the door. -Use a special tool or some heavy object with a pointed tip to break the window if you can’t roll it down. -Push the kids out of the car first and only than leave it yourself. -After some time, you’ll be able to open the door if there’s no way to get out through the window. -Follow the rising air bubbles to the surface. -Unfasten your seat belt, roll down or break the window, and get out as quickly as you can. 7 Tips You Rarely Hear About on Your Driving Test

09:23
How to improve your driving skills? Learning how to drive opens up the world in a whole new way, giving you an incredible sense of freedom. But with this freedom comes responsibility: knowing how to navigate the road and being ready for whatever comes your way. Your life and the lives of others often depend on this! And while driving school taught you the basics, there are a handful of lesser-known driving tips you never learned sitting at a desk. Do you know, for example, that listening to techno music can make you a worse driver? Or that blind spots are a very real problem? Or what “car horn etiquette” is? Let’s find out! Other videos you might like: 7 Tricks That Can Make Your Car Last Longer https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8Qsx3Gy1-d0& 16 Driving Hacks from Experienced Drivers https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=s4EmIKePHuc& 10 Mistakes Lots of People Make When Buying a New Car https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xrxQimKIFSk TIMESTAMPS: Be aware of blind spots 0:26 Save the tech music for walking, not driving 1:54 Adjust your rearview mirror at night 3:06 Don’t neglect your emergency brake 3:47 Respect car horn etiquette 4:36 Make the most of your almost-empty gas tank 6:15 Gain control of your car 7:10 Music by Epidemic Sound https://www.epidemicsound.com/ SUMMARY: - One of the most common blind spots is behind you on your right side. Your side mirror on the right has a hard time seeing past the back corner of your car. This makes it easy to miss a car on your right just behind you. - A study conducted by Professor Warren Brodsky revealed that music with a fast tempo turns people into more reckless drivers. Out of 28 drivers tested, those listening to music with a tempo of up to 120 beats per minute at a loud volume were more likely to run red lights and get into accidents. - Did you know that your rearview mirror has a nighttime mode? And while it doesn’t seem like it matters all that much, it can keep you safer when driving at night. This small adjustment helps you see the headlights behind you more clearly at night. - While the name suggests this brake shouldn’t be used on an everyday basis, you should get in the habit of using it even when you don’t necessarily have to. - A quick beep means you’re just trying to create awareness. Perhaps you’re in someone’s blind spot and they’re about to cut you off as they switch into your lane. - A longer beep can be used if you are in immediate danger and need to get the attention of another driver. Maybe they’re making a wide turn and didn’t look to see you coming in their direction. - If your car begins to drift, resist the urge to slam on the brakes as this can make matters worse. Instead, turn your wheels in the direction the back of your car is sliding. - If your car is rear-wheeled, pull back on the throttle, and, like the automatic car, veer in the direction you’re drifting. If your car is front-wheeled, simply pull the throttle up. The Importance of Proper Vehicle Support and the Loss of My Friend Paul Cox -ETCG1

On June 8, 2015 my friend Paul Cox lost his life when the vehicle he was working on fell off it's supports. This is something that happens too often and I thought I would take this opportunity to bring awareness to this problem. I implore you to make sure a vehicle is secure before you crawl underneath it. I'd hate for another tragedy like this to happen to you or someone you know. How To Safely Lift and Support Your Vehicle: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8OyzbGDn6xg **Note** I forgot to mention in the above video about setting the parking brake and also chalking the wheels. If you want to go over through the entire article here's the link: http://bit.ly/2bNck3f *** A few of our dear aluxers brought to our attention a pretty interesting fact about rolls royce, which is why we want to also share it with the rest of you! You can call this fact 18 or the hidden fact if you wish. *** So, a while ago sometime around 1920 Jai Singh, Maharaja of Alwar in Rajasthan, India was strolling on the streets of London in casual attire and went into a Rolls Royce dealership. He inquired about the price and specifications of one of the cars and the british salesman treated him like a poor indian citizen and was "thrown out" of the dealership. He returned back to his hotel and instructed his servants to call the same dealership and tell them that the Maharaja of Alwar city is interested in purchasing some cars from them. He showed up in his royal attire and the red carpet was rolled out for his visit. He chose 6 luxury cars and paid the full amount in cash. He then arranged for the cars to be shipped to India where he used them to sweep the streets and collect garbage. The word spread like wildfire and this dropped the sales of the luxury car maker significantly. The people at Rolls Royce realized their mistake and sent an apology to Jai Singh along with 6 other Rolls Royce cars free of charge! He accepted their apology and stopped using the first 6 cars as trash disposals. 15 Defensive Driving Secrets That Can Save Your Life

08:14
How to drive a car safely? How to drive a car with an automatic transmission? Safety is everything when it comes to driving. For example, do you know how to drive in winter weather? If you don't feel sure about your driving skills, then watch these 15 secrets from the specialists of defensive driving. The most important rule for when you’re in a drift is not to brake. We mean than blocked wheels don’t let the driver control the car at all. There are only two ways of dealing with drifts, and they are different for each type of drive. We're sure that you know these methods, but we still have a few secrets from the specialists of defensive driving to offer you. TIMESTAMPS How to avoid a car accident 0:29 Always keep the right distance 0:55 Look further 1:13 Use clutch and brake in the winter 1:34 How to drive in fog 1:56 ABS VS. no ABS 2:23 How to drive when drifting 3:08 Check the road 4:21 Divide by two 4:48 The surface road 5:11 Pick a side 5:36 Higher gear 5:51 Don’t overestimate other drivers 6:05 Have an emergency plan 6:32 Use car technology wisely 7:04 SUMMARY Where danger can come from. The places where people brake more often are usually the most slippery: before turns, pedestrian crossings, and bus stops. You should keep the same speed there and start braking early. Keeping the right distance. In winter, the distance between two cars should be two times bigger than in summer. But don’t leave too much space because someone else will want to get in the middle. Looking further Don’t look only at the car in front of you. Keep it in your sight, but also look further — 4-5 cars further. Using clutch and brake in the winter. In winter, you shouldn’t push the clutch pedal together with the brake pedal. In this case, the wheels can get blocked and the car will be put into a drift. Driving in fog. Make sure your headlights are on but don’t use high beams. Those will reflect off of the vapor in the air and only make things worse. ABS VS. no ABS. ABS car owners. The anti-lock braking system neutralizes the brake pedal on icy roads if you push it too fast and too hard. Instead of braking suddenly, the system causes the pedal to vibrate, so you can turn the wheel and put it in the initial position. None ABS car owners. The best way to brake in winter is using the brake pedal together with the downshift speeds. You should push the brake pedal shortly and then fully unblock the wheels. Repeat before the full stop. How to regain control when drifting If your car starts drifting, don’t panic and don’t hit the brake pedal! Another mistake most people make is wrenching the wheel round and in this way over-compensating. Check the road. When driving on winter roads, hit the brake pedal and let it go several times. If you feel that the car stops, the road is good; if you don’t, it means that the road is icy. Do this as often as possible. Make sure you aren’t creating dangerous situations, of course. Divide by two. If in summer you can drive at 80 miles per hour, then in winter, you should drive at 40 miles per hour. This way, you will make sure that you will have enough time to react if your car starts drifting. The surface road. On any road, try to drive the car so that all 4 wheels are on the same surface. Pick a side To avoid bounces between the walls of a deep track, push either the inside or the outside part of the wheels against the wall. Higher gear. On an icy road, you should drive in a higher gear. Again, take the summer norm and increase the gear by one when you’re driving in winter. Don’t overestimate other drivers. People will speed, drive on red, and not let you merge from time to time. Staying alert for others to make mistakes is an essential defensive driving trick. Have an emergency plan. Always leave enough space around your car to swerve to safety if you should. An emergency plan and an escape route in mind provide extra safety for you. Use technology wisely. Use planners available for your smartphone to make sure you never forget to have your wheels changed. Set a reminder right now, so every October you will be reminded that it’s time you thought about your safety. What driving secrets do you know? Feel free to share them in the comments. Russian man builds Bentley tank

01:13
Konstantin Zarutsky, a video blogger and car analyst from Russia, showed a curious project of a tracked vehicle assembled on the basis of a British luxury coupe. The blogger made a video of the , vehicle in action, and one has to admit that it does look astonishing. The blogger and his team assembled a spectacular tracked all-terrain vehicle based on the Bentley Continental coupe. Zarutsky did not go into technical details of his creation, as he believes that they can hardly be of interest to anyone. The man called his project Ultratank. The vehicle is based on the frame similar to that used on tracked tractors and tanks, but the track for the British car is made of rubber, but not metal. The action video of the moving tracked Bentley shows that the man managed to assemble an efficient all-terrain vehicle, but the engine of the car was not designed for a tracked platform. The Bentley tank has no brakes, but it could be possible to slow the vehicle down by simply turning the wheel. However, during one of such turns, the left track came off the track rollers. The blogger and his team have thus found out all the flaws that they need to work on to make their creation much more efficient. Watch my videos at unacademy https://unacademy.com/course/hindi-subject-verb-agreement-air-forcenavy/8V3FJXHM #airforce #Navy #English 1. The indefinite article – a The indefinite article a is the same for all genders. a boya girla cat The indefinite article has no plural form. a boy → boys We use an if the following word starts with a spoken vowel. the following word starts with a spoken consonantthe following word starts with a spoken vowela boya schoola girlan auntan old schoolan American girlMind the pronunciation of the following word. The first sound we speak is [j], so we use a → a unitThe first sound we speak is [ʌ], so we use an → an uncle 2. Use of the indefinite article a/an 2.1. before phrases of time and measurements (per week/weekly) We have English 4 times a week.I go on holiday twice a year. Our car can do 220 kilometres an hour.Tomatoes are $2 a kilo. 2.2. before phrases of jobs My father is a car mechanic. 2.3. with a noun complement He is a good boy. 2.4. before phrases of nationality Bruce Springsteen is an American. 2.5. half/quite We need half a pound of sugar. This is quite a good story. What are English grammar articles? An articleis a word that is used before a noun to show whether the noun refers to something specific or not. A, an and the are articles. Click Here for Step-by-Step Rules, Stories and Exercises to Practice All English Tenses Examples: "I need a chair." In the sentence above we find the article "a". It shows us that the speaker does not need a specific chair. He can have any chair. "I want an apple." In the sentence above we find the article "an." It shows us that the speaker does not want a specific apple. He can have any apple. "I want the red apple." In the sentence above we find the article "the." It shows us that the speaker wants a specificapple. In English, there are two kinds of grammar articles. The Definite Article (For example: the box) "Definite" means "clear, obvious." The definite article tells us that the noun is specific. The speaker talks about a particular (or known) thing.  The definite article in English is "the." Examples: "The car I bought broke down."  "He has a son and a daughter. The daughter is a doctor." "The actors were really good." "I remember the day we first met." "The" can be used before both singular and plural nouns. Examples: "The flower he gave her was very beautiful." "The flowers on the table are nice." The Indefinite Article (For example: a box) "In-" means "not," and "definite" means "clear, obvious." "Indefinite" means "not clear, not exact." The indefinite article tells us that the noun is not specific. The speaker talks about any one of that type of thing.  The indefinite articles in English are "a" and "an." Examples: "I need a pen." (The speaker doesn't tell us which pen he needs. He simply needs a pen, any pen.) "Lisa wants to see a movie." (The speaker doesn't tell us which movie Lisa wants to see. She wants to see some movie.)   "Joe has a car." (The speaker doesn't tell us which car Joe has. He has some car.) "She is a dancer." (She dances for a living.) What is the difference between "a" and "an"? "A" and "an" have the same meaning. We use "a" before a consonant sound. Examples: a dog a building a country a professor a university We use "an" before a vowel sound.  Examples: an apple an umbrella an eye an hour Important! We use "a" and "an" only before a singular noun. We can't use "a" and "an" before a plural noun. Examples: Correct: a car. Incorrect: a cars. Correct: an orange. Incorrect: a oranges. What is the difference between "a" and "the"? "The" is used to talk about specific or known things. These are usually things that have been mentioned before or that the listener is familiar with. "A" (or "an") is used to talk about things which are not specific. These are usually things that haven't been mentioned before or that the listener is unfamiliar with. Let's say I tell you: "I went to see a doctor last week." Explanation: I went to see some doctor. I didn't mention him before, and you are not familiar with him. Another option is that it is not important who he is. So I use the word "a". Then I say: "The doctor said I should get more rest." Now you already know which doctor I am referring to. I am referring to the doctor I went to see. So I use the word "the." Next I say to you: "Do you remember the movie we watched together?" I use the word "the" because I mention a specific movie – you know which movie I am talking about. Then I tell you: "Well, I've seen a better movie since!" You are not familiar with the new movie, so I use the word "a". I also tell you: "A man on the street stepped on my foot." You don't know who exactly stepped on my foot, I've never mentioned him before. So I use the word "a". Finally, I tell you: "I am a singer." This sentence simply means that I sing for a living.

How To Adjust Your Car Mirrors To Eliminate Blind Spots SAE

05:22
Adjusting their vehicle's mirrors is something all drivers do as a normal routine. But according to the Society of Automotive Engineers (SAE) and Car and Driver Magazine, it's also something that most of us are probably doing wrong! I read an article published in Car and Driver about a paper written by the SAE, in which the SAE laid out the best way to adjust your mirrors in order to eliminate dangerous blind spots. It opened my eyes and made me change how I was doing it, so I wanted to share that with you. I've also included a link below to the original article where this information came from and I recommend that you read it for yourself. Thanks for watching! http://www.caranddriver.com/features/how-to-adjust-your-mirrors-to-avoid-blind-spots

First Driving Experiences -ETCG1

If you haven't had your first driving experience yet, chances are it won't be too long before you do. In this video I talk about my first driving experiences. For the most part they were good, never boring that's for sure. I think my love for auto repair came from those first driving experiences. Sort of like the relationship between a person and a horse in the days of old. It becomes a partnership where you share the road to where your going together. Tell us about your first driving experiences. EricTheCarGuy Channel: http://www.youtube.com/user/EricTheCarGuy Intro music by Eric Cook "ETCG1 Intro". Tue, May 21: Chicago’s First Black LESBIAN Mayor; Tax Trump Saga Continues!

03:06:01
Tue, May 21, Hour 1: Pack Your Bags Chicago; “Christians” Call in. Jesse tells story of Democrats — they used radical homosexuals convinced the blacks to support them and took over churches. Then they said the white man is in the way, we need illegal aliens for votes; let’s call whites “white supremacist.” The white man is still in the way a little bit. 60M babies killed in the woman’s womb. Illegal aliens coming from 5 different countries. Christianity under attack. Darryl from Chicago, IL, is a black Christian who voted the black lesbian mayor Lori Lightfoot! Her “wife” is white! Joel reads Super Chats from yesterday Back to Darryl: You’re comfortable with that? What happened to you black people that you accept wrong as right? I expect women to accept it because they don’t have a man to lead them. “I didn’t ask to be in this country.” Well then leave! Wow. He voted for Obama, but not Trump! Scott from Colorado asks: Where are the men? Rebuild families: Due to fathers being weak, they’re letting the mothers turn the children into women. Become an example. Thomas from Michigan says he’s good; his phone’s messed up. David from Michigan, first-time caller, talks about a past misdemeanor and challenges. He calls Darryl (prior caller) a beta. Tue, May 21, Hour 2: Whitephobia; Poor Joe Biden! Jesse can’t play The Fallen State teaser. Back to Thomas from Michigan from last hour, trying to compare the black lesbian mayor of Chicago kissing a woman in public to President Trump’s past. Thomas used to be “homophobic” years back. Now Jesse says Thomas is white-phobic. He was raised Christian, but got into Islam, Judaism, now not. You’re judging The Great White Hope! Thomas asks where’s the free stuff? He claims his kids got straight A’s in college and didn’t get affirmative action. I don’t believe it. Robert from Miami, FL, says Trayvon Martin’s mother, Sybrina Fulton, running for office. A black transgender person got in a car accident, and being found shot to death later. She’s using her dead son, the thug, for personal gain — she never loved him. They’re trying desperately to turn you away from the president. Nobody’s at Joe Biden’s rallies. Don’t believe the experts; they’re liars. They hate the president. Mike from Kansas asked about most of the world being in a fallen state, and the black lesbian mayor. If she kept it quiet and tried to overcome it, then it’d be no problem. But she’s kissing her “wife” in public. He’s not for public displays of affection. Obama and Big Mama were gross together. Mike says he’s American, but is multiracial, but doesn’t want to share what he is. He asks if Jesse will have more “serious” guests like DL Hughley or Tim Wise on, as opposed to DC Young Fly. Brian from NJ talks anger issues, sings happy birthday to you. He has a great testimonial about anger with his family. Tue, May 21, Hour 3: LESBIANS Kissing; The Terminator gets Kicked! Trump calls out Fox News for hosting “Alfred E. Neuman” (Mayor Pete Buttigieg). Arnold Schwarzenegger drop-kicked from behind over the weekend in South Africa Andres from Connecticut, first-time caller, said he can’t find a good conservative girl in his state. Kaz from Australia, first-time caller, is a Muslim who wants to find a Christian girl. He says he loves Christians and Jews. Muslim is not a good religion to be, Christianity is the best. Why don’t Muslims protest radical Muslims so we know they’re not all the same? More great callers, Super Chats, and a story of a doctor in trouble for dealing with a Muslim female. The black lesbian mayor kisses the tall white wife, and brags about being the first black female and openly gay mayor of Chicago. Xavier talks about blacks, women, and men. Another caller from Quebec, Canada, says they banned all religious symbols. He says they’re liberal and white-phobic. Alex from San Antonio, TX, says Jesse’s message of forgiving your mother and father changed his life. He’s 29. He’s Puerto Rican — New York is full of them, left-leaning. Puerto Rico was given $91 Billion to rebuild, way more than Texas got! Yet they’re brainwashed not to appreciate the president, taught to hate Trump. buy and sell cars license|TOP 5|how to be a successful used car dealer

buy and sell cars license|TOP 5|how to be a successful used car dealer URL TO LEARN HOW TO START A CAR BUSINESS: https://www.fajob-startabizzz.com/start-a-car-dealership.html SUGGESTED ARTICLES FOR BECOMING A USED CAR DEALER: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Car_dealership, https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Used_car, SUGGESTED VIDEOS FOR HOW TO GET A CAR DEALER LICENSE: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=B3PWIkDRtJs, https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1Qy57wzeNgY, A used car, a pre-owned vehicle, or a secondhand car, is a vehicle that has previously had one or more retail owners. The average new car price was $33,419 in 2015, while used cars cost $19,397. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oaW-_Vg_mtM https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLiwIjSnovnc0IP4tXw-T8H_BmVu5bBFMJ

Check it Over -ETCG1

11:55
The genesis of this video came about when my late friend Ryan Coffey's 2002 GMC Sonoma came in for some brake service. Before I called for parts, it got all 4 wheels up off the ground and inspected all the brakes. I also took the rear drums off to inspect the rear shoes and wheel cylinders. I know it needed front brakes, but I wanted to make sure it didn't need anything else. In addition, I also made sure the caliper pistons would compress. This way I've got a good idea of what I'm up against BEFORE I call the parts store. This practice might be time consuming but it is effective and can actually save you time in the long run. For instance, had I run into a problem with a brake caliper or wheel cylinder while half way through the job, I would need to go back and start from the beginning. Not to mention calling Ryan's mom back to tell her she had to spend more money. So, the next time you are working on your vehicle, check it over. It just might save your butt.
