Stem Cell Grown "Bio Teeth" Better Than Implants?
"Bioteeth" grown from a person's own stem cells look to be a promising future alternative to dental implants...and they look to even be superior! Professor Paul Sharpe published his findings in the Journal of Dental Research. He says the epithlial stem cells would come from the patient's own gum and be combined with tooth-forming embryonic stem cells of mice. The cells are them implanted into mice and grow into hybrid teeth that would look and function as a normal adult tooth. Bioteeth are still in the research stage, but would you want one? Lindsay Godin is not just The Young Turks billion views winner, but she's also a Postdoctoral Fellow at the University of Minnesota, and has grown tissue in a lab. So obviously, we asked her to give her thoughts on bioteeth and growing organs using stem cells! Class II Composite - Proximal Contact Development
There are a few useful instruments to aid in developing the interproximal contact during Class II composite fabrication. However, some of the claims of the "instrument" maybe overstated - especially in this example: the optically clear light tip provides increased curing ability by allowing efficient light energy transmission to the full depth of the restoration. Here are the purported "research" articles - which - are really case studies. A pubmed search for Trimax reveals no research articles: http://www.addent.com/articles.html#trimax The first article states that : The composite is cured through the Trimax instrument, allowing the light to penetrate the depth of the preparation (Figure 6). This is done for 10 to 40 seconds depending on the light or composite used. Because the insert is disposable, repeated sterilization does not degrade optical output. The second case study has a list that shows: 1. Place Trimax in one time only and apply pressure down then over 2. Cure through instrument 20 seconds 3. Carefully tease instrument out 4. Line void with flowable 5. Fill restoration with composite http://www.dentalaegis.com/id/2012/04/direct-resin-posterior-restorations www.allthingsdentistry.com www.dentistrylearningnetwork.com

Title: Dental pulp stem cell: Is a boon to dentistry 2nd International Conference and Exhibition on Dental and Oral April 21-23, 2014, Dubai, UAE OMICS International: http://omicsonline.org Vaccine Conferences: http://conferenceseries.com/immunology-conferences.php Global Medical Conferences: http://conferenceseries.com Global Pharmaceutical Conferences: http://pharmaceuticalconferences.com Global Cancer Conferences: http://cancersummit.org Global Diabetes Conferences: http://diabetesexpo.com Global Dental Conferences: http://dentalcongress.com Global Nursing Conferences: http://nursingconference.com Abstract The existence of adult stem cell in dental pulp was revealed by Granthos et al in 2000. Human dental pulp tissue contains heterogeneous potential for tissue engineering and regenerative medicine. Our goal is to understand the state of the art in the dental pulp stem cell research and to develop predictable protocols, evidence based steps and outcomes of bone regeneration by using DPSC, bioactive scaffolds, growth factors and future application in craniofacial tissue engineering. Defects due to congenital, traumatic, iatrogenic should be repaired and replaced as natural as possible with minimal tissue morbidity. Dental pulp is the mesenchymal type of multi potent stem cell and has potential to differentiation into osteocytes, build in vivo an adult bone with havers channels with vascularization, thus providing easy access to the collection site with less morbidity. DPSC have an extensive differentiation and proliferation capacity, can be cryopreserved. Interactivity with several biomaterials makes them ideal for tissue reconstruction. It is a boon for dental profession the DSPC can be collected from the extracted wisdom teeth, premolars for the therapeutic purpose and from shedding deciduous teeth. Extirpating the dental pulp from the tooth is simple. Future research will focus to extirpate the pulp without removing the tooth from oral cavity by creating a sterile atmosphere, same tooth can be preserved with minimal morbidity. The same dental pulp stem cells can be differentiated, proliferated and cryopreserved for the future needs. DPSC is a boon for entire medical world not only for dental surgeon. Dental implants as we understand them nowadays were created in 1952 with an orthopedic doctor called Per-Ingvar Brånemark. Today, they're regarded the conventional of taking care of alternative of teeth. An implant is just a medical installation that permitted to blend using the bone within the period of the few weeks and is put into the jawbone. The implant retains an upgraded tooth or link and functions as an alternative for that cause of a lost tooth. Having a dental implant merged towards the jawbone may be the nearest point to resembling an all natural tooth since it has excellent balance and stands by itself without influencing the regional teeth. The procedure of combination between the jawbone and the implant is known as "osseointegration." Most implants are constructed of titanium, which allows them and bone to combine without having to be thought to be a foreign object within our body. With time, technology and engineering have advanced to enhance significantly the results of implant placement. The success fee for dental implants is close to 98% today. Holistic Dentistry | The Hidden Dangers Behind Conventional Dental Work | Part 3
Holistic Dentistry | The Hidden Dangers Behind Conventional Dental Work | Part 3: (PART 3 OF 3) It’s been almost a full year since Kevin has had the last little bit of his toxic dentistry removed. See how he is doing now and how we now believe that his dental work could have been contributing to his Lyme disease, potentially caused epididymitis, an inguinal hernia, a proliferated sinus, potential/partial blindness and a nasty dental infection from a wisdom tooth extraction that lead to a cyst. He also goes into further details to address the dangers behind amalgam fillings, root canals, titanium implants, cavitations and the benefits of seeing a biological dentist. If you are struggling with a major illness such as Multiple Sclerosis, Lupus, Lou Gehrig’s disease, Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis, Heart disease or cancer, please at least consider the possibility of a low grade infection that can be harboring in your dental work and contributing to your illness. ********************************************************************* WATCH PART 1 HERE: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nSUa3puLtBU WATCH PART 2 HERE: https://www.youtube.com/watch?time_continue=1012&v=xSq2kovmmQE ********************************************************************* BOOK SUGGESTIONS: Amalgam Illness: https://www.amazon.ca/Amalgam-Illness-Diagnosis-Treatment-Better/dp/0967616808/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1519098005&sr=8-1&keywords=amalgam+illness It’s all in your head - Hal Huggins: https://www.amazon.ca/Its-All-Your-Head-Amalgams/dp/0895295504/ref=sr_1_1?s=books&ie=UTF8&qid=1519098048&sr=1-1&keywords=hal+huggins Toxic Tooth - Dr. Thomas Levy: https://www.amazon.ca/Toxic-Tooth-making-Kulacz-Paperback/dp/B00ZT0K5D8/ref=sr_1_2?s=books&ie=UTF8&qid=1519098083&sr=1-2&keywords=thomas+levy+tooth ********************************************************************* ADDITIONAL READING OR VISUAL MATERIAL: Cavitations explained: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RKIDFF3jC7Q WSB-TV 2 Investigates: Are the MERCURY fillings in your mouth toxic? https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=N4h_9nyyuHU SMART is the process of safe amalgam removal: IAOMT.org or https://iaomt.org/ Weston Price Information: http://educate-yourself.org/cn/rootcanalcoverup02apr04.shtml Root Canal Dangers Weston A Price’s Information: https://www.westonaprice.org/health-topics/dentistry/root-canal-dangers/ Mercury Fillings Can Cause ALS and MS https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xmYFDkIa6kw The surprising link between periodontal disease and heart health: http://www.dentistryiq.com/articles/2017/02/the-surprising-link-between-periodontal-disease-and-heart-health-what-dental-professionals-need-to-know.html ROOT CANALS ARE DEAD!
